It's A May Thing!

Hello everyone!

FYI, I have started a new blog called amaything now. So I am in the midst of transitioning between my paperpie to my new blog at:

www.amaything.blogspot.com

I hope you check it out! It's got a lot of new things that I've been working on and it will also feature some of the old items you see here on Paperpie.

Why the change? Well, it ended up that "Paperpie" was a limiting name for me, since I do like to work with materials other than paper. And then it I was thinking "why pie?" Anyways....

BTW, my new love love love.... Tokidoki! You gotta check it out if you haven't already. Lots of cute little anime things.

XOXO, see you at amaything!

Stamp Baby Tank Top

I took an old tank top of mine and turned it into a one of a kind tank top for my little baby.

Reversible Baby Dress

Baby Blanket

This is a double sided baby blanket that I made. I ended up with way too much flannel fabric and decided with a blanket. I will never sew another blanket ever again!

Cupcake Pincushions

Thank goodness for Betz White. These handmade cupcake pincushions were just too adorable for me not to make! I saw Betz White on Martha Stewart and fell in love with all her felting creativeness!

These ones that I made are from old sweaters and scarves that I never wear. I didn't have a lot of wool material but I tried to make do. You all should check out Betz White!

Reversible Handbags

Retro Girl Dress

This dress was originally gathered at the front and back. Due to the fabric being a heavy weight I decided to make pleats instead.
